Domestic LPG prices, however, remain steady, with a 14.2-kg cylinder costing Rs.853 in Delhi, Rs.852.50 in Mumbai, Rs.879 in Kolkata, Rs.868.50 in Chennai, Rs.890.50 in Lucknow, Rs.860 in Ahmedabad, Rs.905 in Hyderabad, Rs.916.50 in Varanasi and Rs.951 in Patna. The hike is expected to put pressure on the hospitality sector and could lead to higher food prices, while households have received relief as domestic LPG cylinder prices have been kept steady.
